Ruben Jannink
“Better organizations emerge when leaders focus not only on processes, but on the interplay between people, structure, and technology.”
About Ruben
Whether Ruben Jannink is the right person depends on what a leadership team needs.
Organizations often want the same thing: an organization where people collaborate with direction and enjoyment, and where strategy is actually realized. The ambition is usually clear. The challenge lies in realizing it together.
According to Ruben, sustainable change only occurs when people, processes, structures, and technology are developed in conjunction. Many consultants focus on one of these components; Ruben keeps a continuous eye on all three.
Managing for coherence
Vision on organizational development
In organizations, people, formal processes, structures, and ICT constantly influence one another.
When only one component is managed, an organization often falls back into old patterns. By making the interconnectedness visible, change is created that is lasting.
That forms the basis of Ruben’s approach.
Making strategy visible
Leadership with Obeya
For Ruben, a leadership Obeya is often a powerful tool for connecting strategy and execution.
Obeya makes strategy visible, creates an overview, brings rhythm to management, and strengthens ownership within leadership teams. Additionally, it helps teams to think better, make decisions, act, and learn continuously.
Because Ruben worked with Obeya himself as a manager for many years, he understands the daily reality of management teams like no other.
