The key to

Effective leadership and quick decision-making

Obeya, Japanese for “big room,” is a visual management tool that connects strategy and operations. All of the team’s goals, projects, obstacles and actions are visualized and connected, leading to greater overview and more effective collaboration.

The Leading with Obeya (LWO) method uses the Obeya as a tool for leadership teams. In the LWO Foundation training you will learn the basics of this method, and then apply them to your practice.

Why two days?

We understand that one-day Obeya trainings are also offered in the market. However, we deliberately choose a two-day program for the following reasons:

  • Deeper and more effective knowledge absorption
More time to truly understand, practice and directly apply Obeya methodologies without information-overload
  • More practice and personal guidance
Interactive sessions, realistic cases and extensive real-world examples provide immediately applicable insights.
  • Higher likelihood of success in practice
With moments of reflection and extra time to anchor Obeya in your own work environment, you’ll get more return on investment from the training.

Get to know us first?

Have questions before you want to get started? Sign up for an interactive free 1-hour webinar where Tim Wiegel, author of Leading with Obeya, takes you into the world of Obeya and leadership.

There is also the Obeya Bootcamp where we take you and your colleagues through the power of Leading with Obeya in a fun and interactive way. Great if you want to introduce LWO to your colleagues, but also for example at an event or heath day.

Why It Works

The power of Obeya

People prefer visual information over text, making Obeya so powerful.

  • Obeya is not additional work; it replaces existing meetings, reports, and protocols, ultimately saving time.
  • It provides a complete overview for clear situation assessment and informed decision-making.
  • Obeya is not just about the room or board but about the conversations that take place there. It’s about seeing, learning, and acting together.
